Book Review: Without Warning

Joel Rosenberg has been my favorite author for quite some time. In every one of his books that I have read, I have fallen in love with the characters, laughed with them, cried with them, grown alongside them, and learned with them. His books are exciting, mysterious, relevant, and eye-opening. They are "on the edge of your seat" types of books, and Without Warning does not disappoint. 

Without Warning is the third and final installment of Joel Rosenberg's J.B. Collins series. (I know, sad, right?) It continues J.B. Collins' search for justice in the fight with ISIS. Although I do not want to give too much of the book away, I will say that it is a tear-jerker. J.B. Collins has been through the worst of the worst. He has seen things that no one should ever have to think about seeing. He has lost so many of those around him as a result of the evil that ISIS commits. Yet, he keeps going. He continues to follow his story and tries to warn those around him about the coming attacks. He risks his life to gain vital intel in order to aid the fight against ISIS. 

Throughout this book and over the course of the series, there is a major change in Collins. He goes from being self-centered and somewhat arrogant to being humble and focused on others. This change does not occur overnight, and readers are able to go on this journey with Collins through Without Warning. 

This book was simply amazing. I loved every bit of it and I cannot wait to read it again! I am saddened that this is the end of the road with J.B. Collins, but I am excited to see what Joel Rosenberg has in store for the future. I would wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone!
